Midday Meals Assistant (commencing June 2025)
The staff and children at Faldingworth Primary School are looking for a caring and enthusiastic person to join our lunchtime team.
Our aim is to be a happy, caring and welcoming school rooted in values and principles that safeguards and promotes the welfare of all within the school community.
Midday Meals Assistant duties include (but are not exhaustive):
• Supervision of pupils at lunchtime - in the dining hall, playground, playing field and play equipment
• Encouraging positive play amongst pupils
• Monitoring and reporting incidents
• Behaviour management of children outside
• Supervising children in classroom during wet lunches
• Managing and organising children at lunchtime, supervising the children, setting up of the dining area, serving and clearing up after meals
Faldingworth Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. An Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure will be required for this post.
Hours: 3 hours and 45 minutes per week (full time equivalent) during term time – 39 weeks per year
(Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays - 12:15pm-1:30pm)
