Job Introduction
St Michael's Church of England Primary School is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our friendly team. This is an important role within our school community. You will help ensure that lunchtimes are safe, enjoyable and positive for all children whilst promoting our Christian values of respect, kindness and responsibility.
The Role
Duties will include:
• Supervising pupils during the lunchtime period, both indoors and outdoors.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and play.
• Supporting children to build friendships and resolve minor disagreements.
• Promoting the safety, welfare and wellbeing of all pupils.
• Assisting children in the dining hall and encouraging good manners.
• Supporting children with additional needs where required.
• Administering basic first aid (training will be provided if necessary).
• Reporting any safeguarding, welfare or behaviour concerns in line with school procedure

Fluency Duty
