Reepham C of E Primary School is seeking a Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our team.
We are a Voluntary Controlled Church of England Primary School situated approximately 4 miles from Lincoln City Centre. We are a popular and successful one-form entry primary school which serves families from the local village and beyond.
The school has happy pupils who are eager to learn, they show good behaviour and play an important part in school decisions. The staff team are talented, dedicated and provide a highly effective education for our pupils. We require a Midday Supervisor to help during our busy lunch period.
The working pattern is 5 hours per week, 12.15pm to 1.15pm Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year.
Experience of working in a school is desirable, along with an up to date first aid qualification. We are looking for a friendly, approachable individual to help serve food, supervise in the lunch hall and in the playground, encouraging friendly play between the children and assisting with first aid when necessary, along with assisting to pack away and clean the hall on a rota basis.
In addition to the required skill set, candidates will need to demonstrate:
• Willingness to help with any aspect of lunch cover, whether in the Hall or Playground
• Good behaviour management
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Commitment to working as part of a team
• Ability to show levels of flexibility within the life of the school
• A willingness to learn
