Job Introduction
The West Grantham Church of England Secondary Academy has a vacancy for a reliable and flexible school minibus driver.
A key part of this role is to transport engineering students to and from their off‑site college placements every Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon (12:00pm–3:00pm). During this time, the post holder will also be responsible for supervising the students while they are at their placement locations, ensuring their safety, behaviour and punctuality throughout the session.
Additional hours may be required on other days of the week and these would be paid on a claim's basis.
Key Responsibilities
Transport and supervise engineering students every Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon (12:00pm–3:00pm). This includes driving students to and from their off‑site college placements and providing appropriate supervision while they are at the placement location.
Provide a safe, effective and efficient minibus service for sporting fixtures and educational visits, including occasional evening or weekend journeys as required.
Ensure high standards of safety, behaviour and safeguarding at all times.
Carry out all driving duties in line with Academy policies, vehicle checks and legal requirements.
