Progress Leader

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Lincoln Christ's Hospital School is seeking an inspiring, committed Progress Leader to join our dedicated pastoral team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the development, achievement, and well-being of pupils within a designated year group (Year 7 – Year 11).
About the Role: The Progress Leader is responsible for overseeing the academic and pastoral progress of a year group, ensuring that all pupils reach their potential. You will use data to drive improvement, lead targeted interventions, manage a team of staff, and contribute to the development of our school community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage pupil progress and achievement within a designated year group (Year 7 – Year 11)
• Oversee and develop the social and pastoral curriculum, including assemblies and tutor sessions
• Use data to identify and address gaps in progress, developing targeted intervention strategies
• Mentor and support pupils to overcome barriers to learning
• Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies to promote pupil well-being and achievement
About You: We are looking for a qualified teacher (any subject) with proven experience in a secondary school setting, and a track record of leading or coordinating staff. You should have strong skills in data analysis, safeguarding, and behaviour management, as well as a commitment to upholding the school’s ethos and values.
