Salary: LCC G3, £25,614.00

About the Role:
Clough and Risegate Community Primary School are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our friendly school team on a temporary basis.
The successful candidate will use their experience of working with children with SEND to work closely with the class teacher and other members of staff to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them to access learning, develop their confidence and achieve their full potential.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference to children's lives and ensuring that every child feels valued, supported and included.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide support to pupils with SEND, both individually and in small groups.
• Support pupils with their learning, development, and emotional well-being.
• Help adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.
• Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and participation in school life.
• Work collaboratively with the class teacher and wider school team.
• Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
