North Somercotes CE Primary School are seeking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team
1 x 1:1 Teaching Assistant Post (Part Time) to start as soon as possible
Temporary (whilst child is on roll)
Term Time only
Total Hours: 12
Working Hours 8:45am – 3:15pm Thursdays and Fridays with a 30-minute lunch break
Salary Scale G3, Point 6-9 (c£6,890 per annum – pro rata)
The Governors are seeking to appoint a 1:1 teaching assistant to join our staff team. This important position is to support a pupil in Y1 with an Education Health and Care Plan.
The role will require someone with a caring, empathetic, patient attitude and the ability to recognise small steps in learning. Some personal care may be required. Full training will be given. Previous experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs would be an advantage.
