Experienced School Business Manager
Salary: G8 SCP 21 to 24 FTE £34,314 to £37,938
Hours: Full time; 41 weeks per year
Permanent Contract


Charles Baines Community Primary School Gainsborough requires an experienced School Business Manager to start as soon as possible. We will also consider applicants on a short term basis from as soon as possible until September 2025. Our recent Ofsted noted that the school is welcoming and caring and we can offer a dedicated team and a supportive environment.

Due to the promotion of our current School Business Manager, we are looking for an experienced, committed and motivated individual to join our school team.

Key requirements:

• HR & Personnel
• Financial planning, monitoring and reporting
• Premises management alongside Head Teacher
• Health & Safety management alongside Head Teacher
• Administrative duties


We are looking for an experienced School Business Manager who is:

• Financially astute
• Able to line manage a small team of support staff
• Able to identify best cost-effective methods and make best possible use of resources
• A clear communicator and is committed to forming positive working relationships
• Aware of policies and processes
