Job Introduction

The Pilgrim School wishes to interview an experienced and highly motivated educator willing to join our school. The Pilgrim School has an established and highly effective team of permanent members of staff. The successful candidate will be supported and provided with a range of CPD opportunities

The role is varied and the successful candidate maybe be required to teach core subjects up to GCSE level and be prepared to deliver a breadth of vocational and academic qualifications. In particular experience of teaching Science at KS3 & KS4 will be required.

The Pilgrim School provides lessons face to face in both pupils’ homes and three main bases throughout Lincolnshire. We also deliver virtual lessons using Microsoft Teams for those pupils who are unable to access other models of learning. Pupils who receive education support are diagnosed as medically unfit to return to school or have social/communication or mental health difficulties which make school attendance difficult.

Applicants should be familiar with using Microsoft teams and have sufficient computer skills to be able to use internal pupil management systems.

This is an on-going requirement and successful applications will be contacted to arrange an informal interview at the school.
