Job Introduction
The Fortuna & Athena Federation School are seeking a Level 1 Teaching Assistant for Maternity Cover, and a Teaching Assistant temporary position until 31.08.2026, with the view of becoming permanent, pending a review of the needs of the school.
Fortuna Primary is an SEMH (social, emotional and mental health) school which is in federation with School Athena school. The two schools work together to provide quality provision through a shared nurturing ethos for all pupils. We are looking for two Level 1 Teaching Assistants to start ASAP.
We are looking for creative, empathic, passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our committed staff team. Experience of working with children who display extremely challenging behaviour would be an advantage. Salary: Grade 3 Points 6-9 Pro rata 39 working weeks (£21,267 - £22,291 actual salary)
Hours: 32.5 per week, 39 working weeks
Contract Type: 1 x TA Maternity cover and 1 x TA Temporary position

Fluency Duty
