Level 1 1:1 Teaching Assistant – fixed term until August 2027 (whilst the child remains on roll)
G3 point 6-9 (£24,796 – £25, 989 pro-rata)
22 hours per week, term time only + 5 days

Morton Trentside Primary School is looking for a patient, caring Teaching Assistant to support a KS2 pupil both in the classroom and delivering intervention work. Our ideal candidate will have an understanding of trauma-informed practice and knowledge of strategies to engage children in school life and learning; they will be a real team player, be able to use their initiative and be committed to providing a positive, nurturing environment for our children to thrive academically and emotionally. The ability to remain calm and promote a positive approach to behaviour management is essential, as is an excellent standard of English and Maths. We would love to receive applications from individuals with excellent communication skills, a friendly, approachable manner and the ability to empathise when working with our children. The desire to build excellent relationships with children, parents and colleagues is essential to this role.
