Teaching Assistant Level 1

Job Introduction

Brant Broughton C of E Methodist Primary School are looking for a Teaching Assistant Level 1 to join their team. 

27.5 hours over five days. Term time only.
Grade 3 Points 6-9
Salary: £24,796-£25,989 FTE

We are a small village primary school, with a distinctive family and caring environment. We are looking to appoint a new member into our staff team to support individual children with their learning in line with their EHCP. We require someone who will be able to build strong relationships with the children they support to enable them to reach their full potential.


We are looking for someone who:


• has good standards of English and mathematics
• works in a calm, supportive and caring manner and demonstrates persistence and patience at all times.
• has an understanding of teaching phonics, English and mathematics
• has good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
• is able to deliver learning support planned by the teacher and SENCO
• can work as part of a team
• will consistently act as a role model for all of our children
• has experience of working with children with additional needs or a desire to do so.

Fluency Duty
