Teaching Assistant Level 1

Job Introduction

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Level 1 Teaching Assistant (preferably with experience of working in a Primary or Early Years setting) to join our dedicated and creative team. This post is offered on a temporary basis for 1 year, pending a review of the needs of the school. The successful applicant will initially be required to work in Early Years/KS1, but may be required to work across the key stages.

We currently have opportunities available for 22.5 hours and 32.5 hours per week for 39 weeks per year (ie: term time plus 5 INSET days, which may be twilight sessions or full days).

Fluency Duty

In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
