Teaching Assistant Level 1

Job Introduction

Hours: 32.5 per week, 39 working weeks
Contract Type: Temporary from September 2025 until August 2026 pending a review of the needs of the school.


Athena School is an SEMH (social, emotional and mental health) school which is in federation with Fortuna Primary School. The two schools work together to provide quality provision through a shared nurturing ethos for all pupils. We are looking for Level 1 Teaching Assistant to start from September 2025.

We are looking for creative, empathic, passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our committed staff team. Experience of working with children who display extremely challenging behaviour would be an advantage. Applications are invited from suitably motivated and enthusiastic individuals, from preferably a primary or secondary background, to join our happy committed, and supportive staff team.

Fluency Duty
