Teaching Assistant (Level 1)

Job Introduction

Toynton All Saints Primary School is looking for an After Teaching Assistant (Level 1) to join our friendly and dedicated team.

Are you passionate about education and eager to make a real difference in young lives? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team at our small, rural primary school nestled in the heart of Lincolnshire. Our school prides itself on its close-knit, supportive community and nurturing learning environment, where every child is known and valued. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our teachers and helping to deliver a high-quality, engaging education to our pupils. The ideal candidate will be patient, proactive, and committed to helping children reach their full potential, both academically and socially. Whether working one-on-one, in small groups, or within the classroom setting, you will have the opportunity to build strong relationships and contribute meaningfully to the school’s success.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential — what matters most is your enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

If you’re ready to inspire young minds and thrive in a rural setting, we’d love to hear from you.

We warmly encourage prospective candidates to visit the school by scheduling an appointment with our Headteacher, Mr. Mitchell.

Applications should be completed and forwarded to: enquiries@toyntonprimary.co.uk

The closing date for applications will be 11.59pm on Thursday 10th July 2025.

Shortlisting will take place on Friday 11th July 2025.

Interviews will be held on Monday 14th July.

Our School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The post is subject to enhanced DBS disclosure. Pre-employment checks are in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education.

Fluency Duty

In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.

The school advertising the vacancy will contact you directly regarding the outcome of your application and any interviews. When interviews are taking place schools will follow all Government and Public Health England Guidelines.

All shortlisted candidates will need to verify their eligibility to work in the UK at interview.
