Weeks: Term time only plus 1 week

The Lincoln Saints Federation caters for students and pupils between the ages of 3-19 with a range of needs. We are looking for Teaching Assistants Level 2 to work with students with a range of complex needs and disabilities, including physical and medical needs at our St Francis Special School site.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for the following:
• Liaising with external agencies/professionals and working in collaboration.
• Updating pupil profiles- care plans.
• Instilling a sense of teamwork and making sure that all communication is clear and consistent.
• Ensuring the smooth running of the classroom, enabling education to be carried out alongside the highest standard of care.
• Lead responsibility for administration of medication.
• Direct communication with the school nursing team- working holistically to ensure care plans are followed.
• Communicating consistently and effectively with parents/carers.
• Leading sessions in the absence of the class teacher.

Fluency Duty
