Job Introduction
Grantham Gonerby Hill Foot Primary School are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in the Mainstream SEND Hub.
We wish to appoint a motivated and committed Teaching Assistant and are looking for someone:
who is caring, enthusiastic and innovative.
who has an ability to foster excellent working relationships with children and adults.
who understands how to support children with specific needs.
who can support a child’s learning, behaviour, social inclusion as well as their social and
emotional development.
who is a good team player and able to work well as part of a supportive staff.
Who has experience of working in a school environment or other educational setting.
Nursery experience could be beneficial.
The successful candidate will:
have experience of supporting children with needs, particularly with communication and interaction.
have good Literacy and Numeracy skills (GCSE or equivalent) and NVQ 2 (or equivalent)
have an ability to use their own initiative and be proactive.
be passionate about improving outcomes and supporting children to overcome barriers to
learning and fulfil their potential
30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year.
Salary: Grade 5 SCP 12- 15 Salary £27,254 FTE (Actual starting salary £21,300).
