Annual Salary per post: Grade 3, Point 6 – 9
£24,796 - £25,898 FTE

Working Pattern:
Monday to Friday, 25hrs per week

Part time posts available:

Term time only. The post is temporary, on a 12 month contract pending a review of the needs of the school.

St Andrew’s C.E. Primary School is a happy, positive school to work in, with a dedicated team who support each other in a close and caring family atmosphere. We believe in enriching the school life of every pupil, and to do this we need to engage a Teaching Assistant. The prospective post holder will be given support and guidance from our friendly and committed staff.

It is essential that the applicant has recent experience of working with children and an understanding of how to support children with special needs would be desirable. For this post, a minimum qualification of NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) is required and GCSE grade C in both Maths and English (or equivalent) is preferred. Relevant training will be provided by outside agencies.

Candidates should be professional, understanding issues of confidentiality and the need to protect the welfare of children.
