We currently have two vacancies at Deeping St Nicholas Primary School and would welcome applications from candidates interested in applying for both roles.

Teaching Assistant - Temporary

Salary G3 points 6-9: £4781 - £5300 (actual)


We are looking to appoint a Temporary Teaching Assistant for 9 hours per week, term time plus 5 training days, to support in our EYFS / KS1 class until the 31st August 2026. We are looking to appoint for 4 afternoon sessions starting from 1pm.

The successful candidate should have the ability to communicate effectively with children and adults. And to have experience working in EYFS and KS1. It is desirable for the post holder to have GCSE, or equivalent, in Maths and English.

Mid-day Supervisory Assistant - Temporary

Salary G2 Points 6-9: actual salary £3457 - £3511

We are looking to appoint a Midday Supervisory Assistant for 6.25 hours per week, 11.55am – 1.10pm daily, term time only.

The successful candidate should have the ability to communicate effectively with children and adults. It is desirable for the post holder to have some experience working with children in a similar role.

We are looking for a candidate who has:

• Experience of working in a similar role.
• Ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability.
• A willingness to learn and develop existing skills.
• A sense of humour.
• Willingness to ‘go the extra mile.’
