Two Teaching Assistant Posts from September 2026
Grade 3 point 6-9
Post 1: 32 hours a week/39 weeks
Post 2: 17.5 hours a week/39 weeks
The Governors are delighted to be able to advertise this post to support our highly experienced staff in our village church school to ensure the needs of all pupils are met effectively.
The first post is to provide classroom and 1:1 intervention support for individual or small groups of pupils with Special Educational Needs. The second post is to provide similar support for mornings only (Mon – Fri).
We would welcome and support colleagues who are able to fulfil the following requirements:
• Has experience of working in mainstream or special school
• Has experience of delivering interventions such as phonics
• Has experience of supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disability;
• Has a variety of skills to support and manage pupils with special educational needs;
• Has an empathic and nurturing nature;
• Is enthusiastic, committed and professional;
• Can use their initiative;
• Works well as part of a team
• Has a strong working knowledge of supporting children with behavioural challenges
• Willingness to enhance and demonstrate the vision and values of our school

Fluency Duty
In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
