Temporary Cleaner

Job Introduction

Moulton Chapel Primary School  requires a Temporary Cleaner, covering sickness absence. Required for ASAP.
10 hours per week – temporary contract – term time only.
Salary scale G1.2 is £24,296 FTE
Pro-rata works out at £6201.95 per annum


The governors are seeking to appoint a self-motivated, enthusiastic team player.

Moulton Chapel is a ‘good’ school and has fantastic children. We are looking to appoint a reliable, motivated Cleaner to cover a sickness absence. There is a level of physical fitness required for the job and training will be provided. You would be working alongside another cleaner to help ensure our school remains a clean and well-maintained place of work.

The time that the hours are worked can be negotiated if interviewed but would need to be outside of the school’s working day: early morning/late afternoon/early evening.

We have high expectations, and the staff and children are always striving to become the best we can be! You would be joining a friendly team of 4 teachers (including the headteacher) and 6 TAs in this small, rural primary school. We value our family atmosphere and the support of our pupils’ families and the local community.

The post is directly linked to a sickness absence and will cease as and when the employee returns to work.
