We welcome creative minds who motivate our children to participate in activities and ensure their pastoral needs are met; this will include providing a facility for children to complete their homework. Although previous school experience is not essential, our ideal person will be experienced in working with children aged 4-11 in a childcare setting and be able to demonstrate a range of positive behaviour strategies which create a nurturing, inclusive environment, where all children feel valued.

Excellent communication skills are essential, as our WAC Assistant will enable smooth communication between school and home. They will take responsibility for following registration and departure procedures. A working knowledge of safeguarding children is essential and our WAC Assistant will, together with the WAC Manager, take responsibility for the health and safety, accident prevention and smooth running of emergency procedures for both children and other members of staff.
