Job Introduction

Butterwick CofE Primary School is seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant. 

19 hours 10 mins per week (5 mornings - 8:40am – 12.30pm)

We are looking to appoint a dedicated, caring and enthusiastic individual to support a neuro-divergent child with an Education Health Care Plan in Year 1. The contract will be assigned to the individual statemented pupil.

The successful candidates will need to:
• Ideally, but not essential, have school experience of working alongside pupils with specific additional needs
• be a team player
• be flexible in their approach
• work in a calm, supportive and caring manner and demonstrate persistence and patience at all times
• have good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
• be willing to learn and engage fully with school life, upholding our values and ethos
• use their own initiative at times
