£17,120 actual starting salary
30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year


We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual to join our school as an Art Technician, as soon as possible. This is a permanent, part time position, working Monday to Friday 8am to 2.30pm during term time (39 weeks per year). Hours may be adjusted to suit the successful candidate.

In this role you will support teaching and learning in the Art department on a day to day basis as directed by the Head of Department for Art. You will be well organised, proactive, able to multi-task, work flexibly and have a ‘can do’ approach to work, as no two days are the same. You will also be able to use your initiative and have the ability to foster strong working relationships with both students and staff. Previous experience of working in a school environment would be an advantage but not essential

Responsibilities will include:
• Preparing resources and assisting with setting up materials and classrooms for lessons
• Assist students in the selection and collection of materials
• Order stock as required
