Lincoln Christ's Hospital School, located near Lincoln's beautiful cathedral, is truly comprehensive, with over 1,260 students on roll, including over 185 in the Sixth Form. In our latest OFSTED visit in November 2024, we have been graded ‘Good’ in all areas.

Associate Senior Leader – SENDCo

We are seeking an exceptional and ambitious leader to join our senior team as Associate Senior Leader – SENDCo. This is a strategically significant, non-teaching role with whole-school responsibility for leading and transforming SEND provision.

The successful candidate will provide clear, values-driven leadership to ensure that every pupil with additional needs is supported to achieve excellence. They will champion inclusive practice, strengthen adaptive teaching across the school and secure strong academic, social and emotional outcomes for pupils with SEND. Working in close partnership with senior leaders, teachers, pastoral teams, families and external agencies, they will shape and deliver a coherent, high-impact SEND strategy.

We are looking for a resilient and principled leader with deep knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and the Lincolnshire Local Offer, and a proven commitment to removing barriers to learning. You will hold, or be willing to complete within three years, the NPQ for SENDCOs. Above all, you will combine high expectations with compassion, ensuring that provision is both compliant and transformational.
