Cleaner, Part-time, Permanent



We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, Cleaner to join our fabulous cleaning team. 


The successful candidate would need to:

• to be responsible for the cleaning of specified areas in accordance with County Council’s current specification to achieve County standards
• to order (through the School Business Manager) and safely store cleaning materials and equipment
• to report to the immediate supervisor (or other designated person) any problems relating to cleaning equipment and materials
• follow safe working methods to be used in accordance with COSHH assessments for hazardous substances
• to be keyholder for the school premises where it is considered necessary by the Headteacher
• to carry out wet work duties at the end of the day

Candidates should be caring, flexible, well organised, able to communicate effectively with children and adults, and support the school’s Christian ethos.

Hours/Days to be worked: Flexible Monday to Friday, between the hours of 7 am – 8.30 am and 3.30 pm - 5.45 pm
Total hours to be worked: 11.25 hours per week (40 weeks – term time plus one week)
Salary Scale: Cleaner Grade G1.2 £24 224 (£5 665.70 pro rata)
Job Type: Permanent


Fluency Duty

In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
