Queen Elizabeth Grammar School is seeking a Deputy Catering Manager (Temporary to cover maternity leave).

Key Responsibilities:
 Ability to prepare, cook and serve meals to deadlines.
 Team supervision, under the direction of the Catering Manager and in their absence.
 Knowledge of health & safety requirements and experience of completing routine checks to ensure a high standard of food hygiene.
 Ordering of provisions and contributing to menu development and knowledge of school food standards.
 Excellent organisational, communication and customer service skills.

 A temporary role commencing September 2025 to cover maternity leave, of 37 hours per week for 40 weeks per year.
 Salary upon appointment Grade 6 Scale Point 15 to 18 £30,024 to £32,597 (actual £26,370 to £28,629).
