Midday Supervisory Assistant

Job Introduction

Belmont Community Primary School are looking to appoint a Midday Supervisory Assistant for our school, we are looking for someone who will help the children during lunchtimes, always putting the welfare of our children at the heart of everything they do. The successful candidate must be able to work within a small team, show initiative and be flexible. The hours of work are from 12.20pm to 1.20pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.

Main duties and responsibilities
• Supervise children during mealtimes, in the playground, classrooms as required
• Prepare the hall for lunchtime, including setting out tables. Distribute meals and serve water where required
• Clear tables and collect rubbish, wash and stack away tables, benches dishes and cutlery and clean dining area as appropriate
• Administer first aid as required

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment procedures and pre-employment background checks, including satisfactory references, medical, Enhanced DBS with children’s barred list clearance, online and social media checks and completion of relevant safeguarding training including Safeguarding Children in Education.
