We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our school as a Food Technology Technician, as soon as possible. This is a temporary, one-year, part-time position, working Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (Tuesdays and Fridays 8.15am – 3.15pm, and Thursdays 8.45am – 3.15pm), during term time (39 weeks per year).

In this role you will provide day-to-day support to teaching and learning in the department as directed by the Head of Design and Technology. Duties will include preparing resources, maintaining a safe and well-organised working environment, and supporting the smooth running of practical lessons.

The successful candidate will be a motivated, proactive and flexible team player with strong communication, organisational and time management abilities.

Applicants should have experience or knowledge of working within a food environment or kitchen, along with a working knowledge of Health and Safety. Previous school experience is not required, as training will be provided. A full clean driving license is desirable.
