Infinity Academies Trust is continuing its exciting growth journey — and we’re looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our Operations Team as a Governance & Compliance Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to develop their expertise in the world of MAT Governance, compliance, and strategic operations.

About the Role
37 Hours per week – 39 Weeks per year
Based in Boston or at our Lincoln Hub
As our Governance & Compliance Assistant, you’ll work closely with the Governance & Compliance Professional, supporting the Trust to meet all requirements of the Academy Trust Handbook, Funding Agreements, and wider regulatory expectations.
This is a varied, rewarding role with huge potential for professional growth. You’ll be actively involved in shaping and developing systems, processes, and governance practice across our Trust — all while gaining valuable experience that can open doors to future career progression.
In this role, you will:
Collaborate with central teams and senior leaders to deliver high‑quality governance and compliance support
Analyse, extract and manipulate data to produce clear reports and insights for leaders and the Trust Board
Support stakeholder engagement across the Trust, including internal teams and external partners
Play a key part in the onboarding and induction of our dedicated team of volunteers, enabling them to thrive as Academy Champions
Help develop and enhance governance systems as Trust needs evolve
This role places you right at the centre of our mission to ensure strong, transparent, effective governance across all academies.
