As Head of Faculty of Science, you will play a pivotal role in, driving excellence and ensuring seamless operational delivery of Science across our faculty.

The Role
As the Head of Faculty, you will lead and manage a team of dedicated teachers across a group of subjects, ensuring that high-quality teaching and learning are delivered across your faculty. You will play a key role in shaping the curriculum and driving improvements in student outcomes. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for education.
You will work alongside the Senior Leadership Team to deliver strategic and operational excellence in all areas of Science and at all levels - The postholder will be required to teach across the full age and ability range. (Year 7 - 13).

William Farr is a popular, oversubscribed, rural Church of England comprehensive school, near Lincoln. The school gained academy status in 2011 and has approximately 1,450 students on roll. The school was graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted in all categories in October 2022.
