We are seeking to appoint TWO HLTA's to work across our federation.
Federation Holton le Clay Schools
Positions Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA); across both schools
Hours 1. Full time – 5 days a week.
2. Part time - 1 day a week.
Fixed term – but with the potential to offer flexibility to continue beyond the initial period for the right candidate.
Pay Range - G6
Are you a dedicated educational professional with a passion for supporting young learners? Do you have the skills and enthusiasm to take on a Full-Time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) role within our federation? Both schools were judged as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in 2024 and the governors and Headteacher are looking for a HLTA to help us on our journey.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Full-Time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) at our federation, you will:
• Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver high-quality lessons.
• Provide support and guidance to students, both one-on-one and in small groups.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere.
• Contribute to students' holistic development and well-being.
Requirements:
To excel in this HLTA role, you should:
• Hold a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant qualification or have equivalent experience.
• Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be patient, adaptable, and an effective team player.
• Previous experience as an HLTA or in a similar role is advantageous.
Additional Responsibilities:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to cover all classes across the school. Additionally, you will be allocated PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time to ensure you can effectively support the school's educational objectives
