Job Introduction
KS1 Class Teacher Required for September 2025.
Kirton Primary School is a dynamic school, offering many career opportunities.
We are seeking an exciting and engaging Key Stage 1 Teacher who has high aspirations for children and a belief that every child can achieve. We value the whole child and the whole curriculum.
We welcome applications from both experienced class teachers and those at the beginning of their career. If the successful applicant were to be an ECT, they would have the bespoke support of an experienced mentor, and a development programme tailored specifically for them.
We have a team of dedicated and talented teaching assistants, and an excellent career development programme. Three members of our current SLT, and our current SENDCo, all began at our school as NQTs (ECTs). We are a three-form-entry school, and our year groups are arranged in single-age, parallel classes. Teachers of the same year group take PPA time together to collaborate on planning, preparation and assessment. We use a multitude of curriculum schemes to reduce teachers’ workload.
