Midday Supervisory Assistant

Job Introduction

Manor Leas Infant School are seeking a caring, flexible and enthusiastic person to join our friendly school team to support our pupils during their lunchtime. The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working with children, preferably in a school setting. The role involves working as part of a team to carry out duties including:

• encouraging the children to eat and enjoy their lunch
• helping to serve hot school meals
• leading and supporting lunchtime activities for the children
• helping the children to play safely
• classroom supervision during wet playtimes
• administering first aid

In addition, it is essential you enjoy working with children, can demonstrate good teamwork skills and have a positive attitude.

To start as soon as possible.

Closing date for applications is midnight on Tuesday 7th October 2025

Interviews will be held during the week beginning 13th October 2025.

Fluency Duty

In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
