Midday Supervisory Assistants - St Peter & St Paul Primary School, Burgh-le-Marsh

Job Introduction


Midday Supervisory Assistants are required to start as soon as possible, working from 12:00pm to 1:30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.

We currently have the equivalent of three x 7.5 hour positions available. We welcome applications from candidates who are able to work all five days, as well as those who are seeking a smaller number of days each week, as we are happy to consider splitting the available hours between several people.

Duties include setting up the school hall for hot school meals, serving meals, and supervising children during lunchtime, both whilst eating and playing. First Aid and Food Hygiene qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential, as full training can be provided.

We are looking for someone who:
• Enjoys working with children;
• Is a positive role model for children;
• Has good communication skills with children and adults;
• Can manage behaviour effectively;
• Is able to work as part of a team;
• Supports and promotes our vision and values;

Fluency Duty

In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
