Saxilby Church of England Primary School is seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic One to One Teaching Assistant to join our existing team.

Available post:

One to One Teaching Assistant, Full time, 32.5 hrs, to commence on 01.10.2025 (Or sooner if available) – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday – 8.30am – 3.30pm (with 30 minutes unpaid lunch) The position is within our Upper Key Stage 2 cohort

Part-time hours may be considered for the right candidate.

• have an understanding of a range of additional needs and how these impact on children in a classroom environment

• are able to adapt a lesson to include a child’s interest
• have the ability to build self-esteem and social skills with a caring and positive nature
• are patient and calm under pressure
• are motivated, energetic and has a flexible and innovative approach to learning
• are passionate about ensuring high standards across all aspects of school life
• are committed to inclusion and equality of opportunity
• are committed to the Christian ethos of our school
• are keen to work in partnership with the staff, families and a range of outside agencies and have the skills and confidence to liaise independently with them
• are able to inspire, support, motivate, challenge and empower children to help them make the best progress possible
• are hardworking, open, honest and has a good sense of humour

Fluency Duty
