Pupil Support Coordinator

Job Introduction

Hours; 35 hours/week, 40 weeks/year.

Spalding Grammar School is looking to recruit a Pupil Support Coordinator to develop, implement and co-ordinate services for pupils and their families; be the first point of call for parental concerns (except attendance and safeguarding related issues); identify issues requiring further intervention. Disseminate information where necessary to pastoral staff.

The post is offered at 35 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (one week to be worked during over the holiday periods). Additionally, the responsibilities of the job may require some flexibility in the timing of those hours, on occasion.


While experience of working in a school, and in a Pastoral Support position, would be advantageous, it is not required; however, the ability to deal robustly and consistently with students needing behavioural support, and their parents/carers is essential.

Fluency Duty
