We are seeking a dedicated SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and forward-thinking secondary school.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students who require additional support, helping them to thrive both academically and personally in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
The SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant will play a key role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Working individually and in small groups to help students access learning, achieve their potential and develop independence. Working as part of our busy and dedicated SEN team, the successful candidate will support students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring that provision is delivered effectively and consistently.
You will work collaboratively with teaching staff, the SENCO and external professionals to deliver tailored support strategies, adapt learning activities, and promote positive engagement in lessons. You will also help to foster confidence, resilience and independence, ensuring every child feels valued and supported.
