SEND & EAA COORDINATOR

Job Introduction

Spalding Grammar School, a selective academy,  is looking to recruit a SEND & EAA Coordinator to work with young people to provide the necessary support and provision to assist Teacher and Learning in relation to SEND.

The post is offered at 27 and a half hours per week (9.30am to 3.00pm), 40 weeks per year (one week to be worked during over the holiday periods). Additionally, the responsibilities of the job may require some flexibility in the timing of those hours, on occasion.

While experience of working as a Teaching Assistant would be advantageous, it is not essential. The candidate will need the ability to organise efficiently , be willing to undertake EAA and Exams Access training and be able to work with children with different levels of Need. They should also have a strong understanding of JCQ regulations and SEND legislation.

Fluency Duty

In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
