We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Administration Assistant who can create a lasting first impression and help ensure the smooth running of our school office. This role is perfect for someone who is efficient, approachable, and enjoys working in a busy environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will:
✔ Carry out telephone, reception, and messenger duties, providing a warm welcome to parents and visitors.
✔ Provide administrative support, including filing, word processing, and data input.
✔ Manage incoming and outgoing mail and assist with receiving and checking deliveries.
✔ Help organise routine school activities such as medical/dental checks, school photographs, and parent consultations.
✔ Assist with administration for school trips, work experience, and other events.
✔ Compile and maintain records, registers, and reports as required by the school and local authority.
✔ Liaise with parents regarding pupil related matters, including investigating absences.
✔ Handle cash in line with school finance policy, including collecting payments from parents.
✔ Input data into school systems such as Arbor and CPOMS
