The Lincoln Saints Federation caters for students and pupils between the ages of 2 and 19 with a range of complex needs and disabilities, including physical and medical needs. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to be part of a committed and dynamic team, focused on providing the very best for our pupils.
We are seeking to appointment a passionate and dedicated teacher of SEND. The successful candidate will be committed to creating an inclusive, nurturing and engaging learning environment where every pupil can thrive. We are looking for someone who is patient, adaptable and resilient with a strong understanding and a genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEND.
The St Francis Curriculum is based around four learning pathways: Pre-Formal, Informal, Semi-Formal and Formal. We currently have a teaching vacancy within our Semi-Formal curriculum pathway.
‘Our vision is that our Semi-Formal curriculum offers a practical-based approach to learning which is bespoke and personalised to each individual. Our nurturing environment allows our learners to build positive relationships and be confident communicators as well as developing their independence skills within the wider community. Learning is ambitious and functional for each individual and begins to prepare our learners with the Life Skills they need to enable them to hold a positive place within their community. The Semi-Formal curriculum also provides opportunities for Thinking and Problem-Solving in a range of contexts, allowing learning to be fluid and holistic’.

Fluency Duty
