Job Introduction

The Priory Witham Academy is looking for a highly motivated and passionate Teacher of Art to join a school that makes a genuine difference to its students and supports its staff to achieve their individual goals. The Priory Witham Academy is an ‘all through’ (EYFS – 18) Academy in Lincoln that is central to the community it serves. Our dedicated team of staff are supportive and aspirant and in return benefit from a high trust, high accountability environment where our ‘open door’ policy values and celebrates the inputs of individuals to create our Academy vision.


We are seeking to appoint a teacher of Art to work 4 days per week, starting after Easter 2026 but would also consider someone looking for full time. We seek a teacher who is passionate about the subject and able to plan, prepare and deliver outstanding and engaging lessons with experience of teaching and curriculum planning across KS3, 4 and 5. The successful candidate will have the vision, drive and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with our students and will demonstrate the dedication and motivation to enable all learners to achieve their fullest potential. This is an exciting time to join the Academy as we look to deliver the Craft and Design T-Level with a specialism in Fashion and textiles, although there is no direct requirement to teach this. The successful candidate would also have the opportunity to teach GCSE Photography, experience teaching in this area would be beneficial but is not a requirement.

Fluency Duty
