Teacher of Maths

Please Note: The application deadline for this job has now passed.

Job Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and able Teacher to join our Maths team here at Queen Elizabeth’s High School from September 2025. For a suitably qualified and experienced teacher, there may well also be the opportunity to take an additional responsibility as Second in Department.

The role would ideally suit an individual who, along with the appropriate qualifications, is extremely motivated and enthusiastic. The ability to teach A Level Maths and Further Maths would be an advantage but is not essential and applicants wishing to teach 11-16 would be welcomed.

As we are such a large, friendly, supportive and forward-looking team there is always someone with whom you can discuss issues and develop new ideas. The majority of the teaching occurs in a specialised set of rooms, clustered together in ‘The Maths Corridor’, and all of which are equipped with interactive whiteboards. The department is well resourced with text books, software and other equipment.
