Job Introduction

Banovallum School is seeking a Teacher of Music for September 2025.

If you have experience of Teaching Music in a secondary setting this could be the job for you!

At Banovallum School we have created a united school community which encourages the healthy educational, physical, and personal development of all our students, from the beginning of their journey with us in Year 7 up until they leave us as well rounded young adults in Year 11.

Key Responsibilities:
• Teach the full range of abilities and ages in an 11-16 setting.
• Delivery BTEC assessments, or willingness to learn how to.
• Articulate clearly, expectations of students within the specialist area classroom, practice rooms and recording studio.
• Offer experiences outside of the classroom environment, (full light, sound, productions and performance equipment for stage set up) whilst working with other departments.

Fluency Duty
