What the role involves
Supporting teaching and learning across the primary phase (classroom support, small-group work and delivering targeted interventions as required).
Helping to create a stimulating, caring and safe classroom environment where pupils are happy and engaged.
Working under the guidance of class teachers and the SENCO to support individual needs.
Contributing to the positive culture and daily routines of the school.

Desirable (but not essential)
Experience of working in a primary or EYFS setting.
Basic training in phonics, speech and language or specific interventions.
Safeguarding and checks
The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and other pre-employment checks in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education.
