Church Lane Primary School is an Outstanding and highly inclusive school where every child is valued and supported to achieve their very best. We are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our SEND department, working within a specialist class of 10–13 children, primarily with Autism.
We are seeking someone who:

Has patience, empathy and a positive attitude
Brings energy, humour and warmth to their work each day
Has high expectations for all pupils
Is an outstanding practitioner — or has the aspiration and commitment to become one
Works well as part of a supportive and collaborative team
Is passionate about inclusive education and supporting children with additional needs
The successful candidate will help create a calm, engaging and supportive learning environment where children feel safe, understood and successful. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to support pupils both academically and emotionally, helping them to thrive and develop independence.

Experience of working with children with Autism and SEND is desirable, but above all we are looking for someone with enthusiasm, compassion and a genuine commitment to helping children succeed.
