Monks Abbey is an oversubscribed primary school in the centre of Lincoln, which serves a diverse community.  It is an exciting time to join us, with the school having new leadership that is determined to strengthen the school workforce. We are a thriving and diverse school that cares for 600 pupils who flourish in our friendly and stimulating classroom environments. We are seeking to appoint an inspirational teaching assistant to join our team. We believe that Monks Abbey Primary School is a rich and exciting place to learn and work. We are really fortunate to work with children who bring a wide range of experiences and cultures into school that we can all benefit from.

In our school Teaching Assistants may be required to work with specific children to cater for needs identified by the SENCO or class teacher.

This role is initially offered on a 1-year contract to be reviewed based on the needs of the school.

• Has a good understanding of the National Curriculum
• Has experience covering classes
• Able to lead quality lessons
• Has a passion for teaching
• Has a willingness to learn and progress
• Has good behaviour management skills
• Is able to communicate effectively with others, have fun and be part of an amazing team
