TEACHING ASSISTANT

Make a lasting impact at South View Community Primary School. We are seeking a proactive, nurturing Level 1 General Teaching Assistant who brings independent thinking and a passion for helping primary children thrive.

Key Details
• Grade 3.6 – £16,359
• Closing date: Thursday 25th June (Midnight)
• Interview date: Monday 29th June
• Hours: 25 weekly, 39 weeks a year, term time plus 5 training days

Role Overview
• Support classroom learning and deliver core interventions.
• Assist SEND children.
• Foster pupil independence.
• Liaise with parents and professionals.
• Uphold safeguarding policies

Requirements
• SEND experience preferred.
• Strong initiative shown.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Solid literacy/numeracy.
• Nurturing, empathetic nature.

Fluency Duty

In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
