Heighington Millfield Primary Academy are currently seeking to appoint an experienced or Level 3 Apprentice 1:1 Pupil Support Assistant in KS1, working as part of a learning support team to meet the needs of SEND pupils.

We are looking for someone to support in the delivery of individual specific targets outlined in the EHCP. Our child needs someone special, who has the patience, enthusiasm and passion to support this child’s communication and interaction so that they can be the very best they can be.
The successful candidate will become part of an extremely supportive team who share ideas, thoughts and offer a listening ear – you’re never alone.
Experience of autism, an understanding of autism or a willingness to undertake profession development is important.
Qualifications in GCSE English and Mathematics grade C or equivalent are essential; However, applications will be considered from candidates who do not hold these qualifications, as we would support the right candidate to gain their Level 3 Apprentice Teaching Assistant qualification. Previous experience of working with children is desirable.
