Job Introduction
Spalding Primary Academy is seeking to appoint a Pastoral Lead to work with our children with additional needs. The successful candidate will be a qualified Teaching Assistant who has experience of working with children who need support with de-escalating their behaviours and supporting them to regulate so they are in a place to learn. The role will include providing planned, regular interventions for children across the school who have EBSA, have experienced bereavement or with other additional needs.
The successful candidate will be a dedicated, energetic, enthusiastic and caring professional with the ability to build relationships with children. The ability to work as part of a team and under your own initiative is important. The successful candidate must be able to show excellent organisational and communication skills with children and colleagues. Candidates must be able to show compassion, patience, trustworthiness and reliability.

The post is 37 hours per week, term time only plus 5 training days.
Salary – G5 12 – G5 15 = £22,752 - £ 25,064 actual, gross per annum.
